Sangeeta Yadav is a Ph.D. research scholar in the Department of Applied Sciences at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, India. Her research focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and application of carbon dots for antibacterial activity and environmental remediation. Her current research explores the combination of potato-peel-derived carbon dots and hesperidin against Staphylococcus aureus, with an emphasis on oxidative stress and bacterial antioxidant defense mechanisms. She is also interested in understanding the interactions between bioactive compounds and bacterial proteins through computational studies, including molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations. Her work aims to explore sustainable and effective antibacterial strategies using biomass-derived nanomaterials and naturally occurring compounds for potential biomedical applications.
